Dr. Ervin Frenzel, CCISO, is the former Director of Cybersecurity at a College in North Texas; he has been in cybersecurity since 1989 and covered many of the currently recognized roles within the field. While serving as the Director of the North Texas College, he achieved the NSA CAE-CD credential for the school, serves as an NSA CAE-CD peer mentor, reviewer, and reviewer committee chair. He was the EC Council academic Instructor of the year (2020) and is a contributing member of multiple international committees on Human/Technology Interaction.

Serving outside of academia in Finance, Educational, Medical, and Government entities, Dr. Frenzel started in the US Army in the late 80’s. He is a published author with research interests lie in Socio-Technical Systems interactions and has taught at multiple schools across the nation. Dr. Frenzel recently completed his PhD in Cybersecurity Leadership from CapTechU, focusing on bringing related fields into the cybersecurity fields.
